Wes Reohr of Capital BlueCross named a

Central Penn Business Journal Forty Under 40

 

            HARRISBURG, Pa. (Oct. 14, 2014) – Wes Reohr, manager of Small Group Sales for Capital BlueCross, has been named to the Central Penn Business Journal Forty Under 40 list. The honor recognizes business leaders under the age of 40 who demonstrate a commitment to business growth, professional excellence and community service in central Pennsylvania.

“Wes has a decade of experience and a reputation for delivering excellent service to our customers,” said Tracy Onorofsky, Capital BlueCross senior vice president of Commercial Group Sales. “He demonstrates an ability to resolve challenging issues and simplify complexities for his team and those we serve. He also has a proven record of driving revenue results both as a sales representative and in his current managerial role.”

As manager of Small Group Sales, Reohr led his team to exceed their retention goal by 5 percent and sales by 25 percent. This was accomplished while efficiently servicing more than 6,700 customers.

Reohr has contributed to establishing Capital BlueCross as a leader in implementing the provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). Namely, he took the lead to develop the company’s new small group product portfolio to meet PPACA standards in various market segments and position Capital BlueCross for success in the post-health care reform environment.

Reohr also volunteers in the community, donating time toward efforts that support heath causes such as cancer, Crohn’s and Colitis, and Cystic Fibrosis.

An awards ceremony honoring all of this year’s Forty Under 40 award recipients is scheduled for Oct. 27 at the Hilton Harrisburg.
