Donna K. Lencki to discuss power of the consumer in today’s health care industry at World Health Care Congress
HARRISBURG, Pa. (April 2, 2014) – Capital BlueCross Chief Marketing Officer Donna K. Lencki will discuss the power of the consumer in shaping today’s health care industry during a panel on April 7at the 11th annual World Health Care Congress Health Plan and Payer Summit in National Harbor, MD.

Lencki will draw from Capital BlueCross’ experience operating Capital Blue, a first-of-its-kind health and wellness retail store the company opened in 2013. The store provides consumers with one-stop shopping to explore insurance options and discover ways to engage in good health.
Lencki played a key role in branding and developing the store, as well as the adoption of other innovative consumer engagement strategies such as the expansion of Capital BlueCross’ social media presence and suite of online and mobile tools.
At the Summit, Lencki will be part of an expert panel titled “Optimize Member Engagement and Experience to Meet the Needs of the New Health Care Consumer.” Joining Lencki will be Paul Nutting, divisional vice president, Customer Experience, Health Care Service Corporation; and Rich Macha, executive vice president, Strategic Healthcare Accounts, Teleperformance. Moderating the panel will be Debra Richman, senior vice president, Healthcare Business Development & Strategy, Harris Interactive.
