Anne Baum, Therese Narzikul of Capital BlueCross
receive Women of Influence honors
HARRISBURG, Pa. (April 14, 2015) – Capital BlueCross’ Anne Baum, vice president, Lehigh Valley and Therese Narzikul, senior director, Performance Improvement, have been selected to receive 2015 Women of Influence honors from Lehigh Valley Business and the Central Penn Business Journal, respectively.
The Women of Influence Award program recognizes 25 women annually who are renowned for their record of accomplishments and dynamic leadership in their company, industry and community.
Baum serves as a senior leader in the Lehigh Valley, representing Capital BlueCross throughout the community while also serving as an executive liaison between its Lehigh Valley and Harrisburg offices.
In addition to her work at Capital BlueCross, Baum volunteers in the community serving in leadership roles for organizations including the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber Foundation, United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley, Girl Scouts of Eastern PA, IronPigs Charities, Lehigh Northampton County Airport Authority, Northampton Community College Foundation, Weller Health Education Center and the Lehigh University Health Systems Engineering Advisory Board.
Narzikul has been instrumental in driving innovation and change in order to improve the health and wellness of Capital BlueCross customers. Her successes include leveraging relationships and developing collaborations with physicians, hospitals and other community health care organizations.
When she is not helping to improve the health of customers, Narzikul volunteers as a judge for the Keystone Alliance for Performance Excellence (KAPE) and as an examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. She also continues to support academia, serving on the Villanova University Executive MBA Advisory Board, and the university’s Center for Business Ethics Advisory Board.
