How often is your Find a Doctor feature updated?

Generally, the Find a Doctor feature is updated on a monthly basis. Capital BlueCross makes every effort to ensure that these listings are accurate. However, additions, deletions and changes will occur over time. You can verify a provider's status by calling 800.962.2242 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.



I'm trying to find a participating doctor but I'm not sure which product I have. How do I find out?

You can determine which product you have by looking at the insurance identification card you received from Capital BlueCross. The name of your product will appear on the front of your insurance identification card.



How do I search for a Doctor/Hospital by name rather than distance from my home?

The Find a Doctor feature has the ability to search either by name of the provider or distance from home. These options are found under  the "Select a Search" field on the form.
