Capital BlueCross Provider Training Modules
Capital BlueCross is offering the Medicare Parts C and D Fraud, Waste and Abuse training and the Medicare Parts C and D General Compliance Training, released February 2013 by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Per CMS, all providers and their staff members who provide services under Medicare Advantage and Part D products must be trained in Compliance as well as Fraud, Waste and Abuse. By completing this training, you and your staff will have satisfied your training obligations under your Capital Advantage Insurance Company and/or Keystone Health Plan Central participation agreements.

CMS Fraud, Waste & Abuse / General Compliance Training
The Certificate of Completion, found at the end of the trainings, should be completed by all providers, vendors, and their staff who have completed the training. Certificates should be kept on file for future auditing purposes.
ICD-10 Web Tool Kit
The International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10) Clinical Modifications (CM) and ICD-10 Procedure Coding Structure (PCS) are new medical code sets under HIPAA-AS and represent a fundamental overhaul to the current ICD-9 coding system. A federal mandate requires all HIPAA covered entities adopt ICD-10 by the compliance date of October 1, 2014.
