Take Charge

Virtual Take Charge provides participants with the knowledge and tools needed to develop lifestyle habits to help control diabetes, or to lower one’s risk of developing diabetes in the future, or even to support a loved one who lives with uncontrolled blood sugar.

There are four lessons in this course which are each broken down into several modules.

  1. Introduction to diabetes
  2. Nutrition for blood sugar control
  3. Counting carbohydrates
  4. Putting it all together

Looking for a health coach? Our Capital Blue health coaches come from a variety of health field backgrounds and are trained and certified in health coaching. They will cheer you on and provide personalized advice.

Members: First three, 30-minute sessions are free, then $25 for each 30-minute session

Non-members: $40 for each 30-minute session

Sessions are held at Capital BlueCross Connect health and wellness centers locations in Enola or Saucon Valley.

Online Health University

The Health University includes courses as part of the Healthy Blue Rewards program. The University features videos, quizzes, exercises and other support tools and activities. Topics include:
