BlueCard Executive

Capital Blue Cross, in alignment with Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) guidelines and the obligations outlined in the Provider MDL Settlement, has designated a BlueCard Executive to support providers who remained in the Settlement Class. The BlueCard Executive is a senior-level individual at Capital Blue Cross who is accountable for managing escalated issues regarding certain BlueCard claim payments. 

Who is eligible to escalate claims to the BlueCard Executive?

Only providers that are located within Capital Blue Cross’ 21-county Service Area and part of the Provider MDL Settlement Class can engage the Capital Blue Cross BlueCard Executive. All executive-level inquiries should be submitted to BlueCardExecutive@CapBlueCross.com.

If an eligible claim requires information or assistance from another Blue Plan, Capital Blue Cross’ BlueCard Executive will coordinate with the other Plan to address the inquiry.
