Capital Blue Cross has programs to help your child stay healthy. Disease management programs help assess the health needs for members who have a chronic condition and provide education, counseling and related information designed to assist with the management of the disease or condition.

The Green Zone℠ – Managing Asthma
Managing your child's chronic breathing problem can be a challenge. The Green Zone program can help you manage medicines, breathing treatments and environmental hazards. Kick It!℠ – Nicotine Cessation
Each day 6,000 youth try smoking for the first time. According to the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, many young people start using tobacco by age 11 and many are addicted by age 14. Smart Control 4Kids℠ – Managing Diabetes
Reinforcing healthy habits and helping your child manage his or her diabetes can be overwhelming. Smart Control 4Kids helps you and your child learn how to improve diet, exercise, medication management and attitude. You and your child work together to control diabetes and help prevent many future health complications. You'll get educational materials in the mail to support your child's wellness goals.
